The Altered
SHORT FILM IN PRODUCTION
I've written and am directing a short film (working title: "The Altered") as my first foray into narrative filmmaking. It is a psychological horror film centered around a woman who spends time with a couple who may know more about her boyfriend's disappearance. But in her time spent with them, she starts to question their intentions and the fabric of her own reality.
ZERO-BUDGET SHORT FILM
This project is a zero-budget project - there will be no profit and any expense has gone to gear used to film the project. But we do value the skill and time of our crew and cast very much and appreciate your willingness to volunteer as a member of our team and, hopefully share in the reward of a good creative project.
We will be submitting this project to short film festivals for consideration.
SHOOT DATES: AUG 5-9
We're looking to shoot between Aug 5-9th because the lead will be here in MN for a limited time. We'll first look at everyone's availability. The actual shooting commitment will be no more than 2 days, with an extra day reserved in case of bad weather.

This project is going to have a skeleton crew. Marc Andreo is operating as DP & Director.
We are looking for:
- Sound Technician (gear provided) - in charge of recording & monitoring sound.
- Production Asst - follow script to make sure line readings are accurate & ensure we are operating on time, handle logistics.

- (3) Old Man, 65-75.

Christina Blum
CASTING FOR "THE ALTERED"
NYC-based actor Christina Blum is cast as the lead in the short film. Christina trained as an actor at the Stella Adler Institute in Los Angeles. Since 2016 she has frequently worked with "A Light In Dark Places", whiles also participating in a web series. She has played roles and worked behind the scenes in stage productions and short films in NYC and LA, most recently in the short film "Just One of Those Days".
